Troy Weathers Endorsed for State Representative

Troy Weathers
Troy Weathers For House District 24

TN Advocates for Early Learning is proud to announce its support and endorsement of Troy Weathers in House District 24. Troy understands that early investment in our children’s education is necessary for the success of the entire state.

As a member and Chairman of the Bradley County School Board, Troy led several initiatives aimed at improving the quality of early education, including strengthening Bradley County’s Pre-K program through private partnership. Weathers recognizes the importance of investing in early literacy programs and supports efforts to bolster access to quality early childhood education in both the 24th House District and across Tennessee.

Troy was born and raised in Cleveland, the youngest of nine children. He attended Mayfield, East Cleveland, and Michigan Avenue elementary schools. Troy graduated in 1979 from Bradley County High School. He and his wife Nikki have three daughters between them and two grandsons. Nikki, Troy’s daughter Amanda, and two of his sons-in-law are public school teachers. The Weathers are members of Crossroads Community Church where Troy serves on the Set Up team.

TN Advocates for Early Learning looks forward to working alongside Troy in the State House as a partner in our efforts to ensure Tennessee’s children have the best chance for lasting academic success.
